Houdini Vellum Hair: The Weight of Grass

🌱This project is a technical and visual study focusing on grass interaction, secondary motion, and physical response through a rolling sphere simulation for CFX simulation learning.
The goal of this exercise was to explore how individual grass blades and clumps react to external forces, emphasizing believable deformation, bending, recovery, and subtle variation rather than exaggerated motion.Special attention was paid to maintaining a natural look while preserving readable silhouettes in close-up and wide shots.
